About the Bowl
The AP Bowl allows for students in High School who are taking AP Computer Science A to test their knowledge and ensure that they are prepared for the AP Exam in May. This year, we are expanding our reach by taking advantage of the online platform. This is a great opportunity to win some knowledge and gain exposure to questions that are similar to that of the AP Exam!

Accessible
The AP Bowl this year will be held ONLINE, making it accessible to students regardless of their location. Improving accessibility of the program helps our organization reach our goal of improving the diversity within the Computer Science field. Further logistics can be found here.
Give-a-ways
With the Bowl's prizes ranging from year to year, participants can win prizes worth up to $200! In previous years, students have won AirPods, Beats, speakers, and so much more. The give-a-ways will be awarded to top-scorers and raffled off.

As a part of getting the most out of the experience, we encourage students to take the time to study before the AP Bowl to mirror what the actual AP Exam would be like. Here are some of the previous AP Bowl Exams to help prepare for the Bowl and the exam in May.

There are no costs! This program is absolutely free!
What will I get out of this as a student?
You will get practice your AP Computer Science A Exam as the AP Bowl Questions resemble the exam. The AP Bowl authors are very familiar with the layout of the AP Exam, so taking the exam gives students the opportunity to understand where they stand before going to the exam. It also is similar to the testing environment provided in the AP Exam, allowing for students to have the full experience of the AP Exam!
Will my scores get sent anywhere?
No! The scores are provided to only the student to gauge their understanding of the content. We encourage students to take the time to learn from their mistakes so that they may improve for the AP Exam in May.
